Mediation
We always advise our clients to consider mediation before proceeding with legal proceedings which can be drawn out, causing legal cost to escalate. We act as neutral party and assist the parties to either resolve the dispute between them or identify issues upon which an agreement can be reached. Mediation is confidential and should both parties agree the settlement agreement can remain confidential. However, there is the option when a settlement is reached, this settlement document is binding and the obligation contained there in can be enforced.
Civil Litigation
Civil litigation occurs when two or more parties become involved in a legal disagreement that involves seeking money or action but does not involve criminal accusations. Our services include letters of demand, debt recovery and settlement agreements. These cases will sometimes head to trial, giving a judge the chance to decide the outcome.
